Who We Are: We are a prominent Interior Fit-Out & Design company with operations in Dubai and the EU. Our specialization lies in creating stunning interior spaces through meticulous detailing and craftsmanship. We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated candidates to join our team as AutoCAD Draftsman. Position: AutoCAD Draftsman Location: Dubai, UAE (EU-based candidates are also encouraged to apply) Role and Responsibilities:
- Shop Drawings Preparation: Create accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for various interior elements including doors, wardrobes, and furniture based on design drawings and 3D perspectives.
- Production Details: Provide detailed sections and information within shop drawings to meet production requirements.
- Technical Drawings: Prepare precise drawings for wall cladding, cornice, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, windows, doors frames, and cross sections.
- Cutting Lists: Generate cutting lists for furniture, marbles, glass, and joinery works to ensure efficient material utilization.
- Revision Management: Address comments and revisions from consultants, ensuring compliance and maintaining drawing submission logs.
- As Built Drawings: Create accurate as-built drawings reflecting on-site installation.
- Joinery Plans: Develop comprehensive plans, elevations, and sections for all joinery works.
- Deadline Adherence: Demonstrate the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Industry Standards and Collaboration: Possess a strong understanding of industry finishes and collaborate closely with the Fitout, Joinery team, and site engineers to achieve successful project execution.
- Problem Solving: Identify and anticipate discrepancies between site conditions, materials, and drawings, taking swift action to address changes.
- On-site Support: Provide on-site support by preparing freehand section details for the team and executing practical design adjustments.
- Practical Execution: Translate design concepts into practical sizes and materials, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects.
- BOQ and Cutting List: Proficiently create Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cutting lists to facilitate project planning and material ordering.
- Material Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of different materials, installations, finishes, and profile fusion detailing.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibit a keen professional eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of design and execution.
- Software Proficiency: Full working proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Proficiency in 3D Modeling with Sketchup | 3D Studio Max is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully executing high-end residential, hotel, and commercial projects.
- Proficient in English and IT literate, with the ability to respond promptly to immediate requirements.
- Proactive with a go-getter attitude and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Diploma in Design/Architecture/Civil is preferred.
- Possession of a valid UAE driving license is preferred.
