Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to support the design and development of Schell schemes and custom event booths for upcoming exhibitions and events.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings and layouts in compliance with event space requirements, organizer specifications, and internal design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Schell scheme setups, booth layouts, and event structures.

Convert conceptual sketches or 3D visuals into precise 2D technical drawings.

Ensure all layouts comply with venue regulations, organizer guidelines, and structural safety standards.

Coordinate with the design and project teams to incorporate branding and functional elements into booth layouts.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback from internal teams or clients.

Assist in preparing layout plans for electrical, lighting, and branding installation as per booth requirements.

Ensure timely submission of final drawing files for production or organizer approval.

Graphic design - designing layouts, selecting fonts and colors, and developing graphics for print and digital media. Requirements:

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in exhibitions, events, or interior fit outs.

Strong knowledge of event layout planning and booth structure design.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc and related drafting tools.

Ability to interpret design briefs and convert them into accurate drawings.

Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates must have access to their own computer system/laptop with suitable AutoCAD and other required graphic software installed for remote drafting tasks.

Familiarity with common venue requirements and international event standards is an advantage. Deliverables Expected:

2D Layout Drawings (Booth Plans, Schell Scheme Layouts, Electrical/Lighting Plans)

Revisions as required during project execution

Final drawing package ready for organizer submission and internal production use

Graphical presentations etc.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR5,000.00 per month
