Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
AutoCAD drawings
for glass, glazing, facades, curtain walls, partitions, balustrades, and related systems.
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop
accurate glass layout drawings
and fabrication details.
Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, and site supervisors to ensure design feasibility.
Maintain drawing records and revision history in line with company standards.
Create
cutting lists, material take-offs
, and fabrication sheets for production.
Ensure all drawings comply with
industry standards, safety codes
, and project specifications.
Support the design and technical team in
shop drawing approvals
and submittals.
Review and modify drawings based on client, consultant, or site feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Degree
in Drafting, Architecture, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
2-5 years of experience
as a draftsman, preferably in the
glass, aluminum, or facade industry
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
; knowledge of Revit or SolidWorks is an advantage.
Strong understanding of
glass specifications
, fittings, profiles, and installation methods.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
