***** CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST 10 YEARS RELEVANT JOINERY DRAFTING EXPERIENCE ***** You are applying for a job as a Draftsman/Draftswoman in a Joinery Fitout Company - Please read the requirements carefully. : Your main tasks and responsibilities are as follows (but not limiting to):
- Preparing detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings, pictures or 3Ds for production
- Preparing joinery Shop Drawings and as-built drawings for client/ consultant approval
- Checking plans, drawing and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Developing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) when required
- Surveying sites and developing shop drawings and drafting when needed
- Prepare joinery cutting lists if required
- Coordinate with the Production Managers, Project Engineers, Designers and/or Clients for the necessary updates and changes required for shop drawings
- Ability to work well under pressure Highly flexible & adaptable
- Ability to work effectively with multicultural workforce
- Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Must have good practical organization skills, planning of resources and scheduling
- High proficiency in AutoCad, Sketchup and MS Office - all other IT proficiencies is a plus
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design and any related certifications is a plus
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in Interior fit-out/joinery
- Extensive knowledge of materials and technical specifications related to interior design
- Joinery drafting: 5 years (Required)
