Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software based on sketches, specifications, and instructions provided by engineers or architects.
- Convert rough sketches and design concepts into professional and accurate CAD drawings.
- Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, project requirements, and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to review and revise drawings as needed.
- Maintain organized files and records of drawings and revisions for reference and future use.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of drafting tasks.
- Stay updated on AutoCAD software updates and industry trends to enhance skills and productivity.
- Assist in preparing and assembling drawing packages for client presentations or project submissions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality control, file management, and project deadlines.
- Associate degree or technical certification in drafting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other drafting tools and software programs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
