Job Summary: Looking for an AutoCAD Drafter in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Create detailed and accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software, adhering to project requirements and specifications
• Interpret rough sketches, specifications as well as other design documents to develop comprehensive and precise digital drawings
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other professionals to understand project objectives and ensure that drawings align with design intent
• Modify and revise existing drawings to incorporate design changes and updates as required
• Make sure drawings adhere to applicable codes, standards and regulations
• Review and analyze technical drawings for errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and records
• Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements as well as best practices in AutoCAD drafting. AutoCAD Drafter
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of drawings and deliverables
• Prepare design documentation including drawings, schedules and material lists
• Blend technique and aesthetics to create final designs
• Present various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations
• Finalize AutoCAD models
• Present models to clients
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have relevant qualifications with several years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or in a related role
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings
• Strong knowledge of drafting principles, practices and techniques
• Must be familiar with construction and engineering terminology
• Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering and architecture required
• Knowledge of state safety and structure regulations
• Excellent technical design skills
• Good communication skills
