Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare accurate and detailed

2D CAD drawings

for joinery, custom furniture, interior fit-out works, and architectural elements. Develop

shop drawings, detailed sections, and joinery details

as per project specifications and standards. Coordinate with

designers, architects, engineers, and project managers

to ensure drawing accuracy. Create and update

as-built drawings

based on site modifications or changes. Review

material specifications

and ensure compatibility with design and production standards. Collaborate with the

production and site team

to address technical issues and ensure clear drawing interpretation. Maintain an organized

drawing repository

with proper version control. Ensure that all drawings comply with

local authority requirements

, codes, and standards (as applicable). Participate in

site visits and measurements

when needed to verify dimensions and conditions.

Key Skills and Competencies:



Proficient in

AutoCAD

(2D); knowledge of

SketchUp, Revit, or 3D tools

is a plus. Strong understanding of

joinery construction, carpentry techniques

, and interior detailing. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:



Diploma or Degree in

Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering

or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in drafting within the

interior fit-out or joinery industry

. Experience in

high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects

is preferred.
