We are seeking experienced Denter to join us. The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
*Repairing vehicles in accordance with dealer/distributor standards, within flat rate time
*Repairing structural damage by realigning car chassis and frames.
*Hammering out minor body damage including dents and dimples.
*Welding, attaching and fitting parts into place.
*Filing, grinding, sanding and smoothening filled or repaired surfaces.
*Ensuring that the assigned body repair jobs are executed in line with standard operational procedures so that the overall objectives in terms of productivity and quality are being met or exceeded
*Obtaining technical information from the Body Shop Foreman on problem jobs
*Adhering strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by management
*Accepting responsibility for supporting apprentices/helpers via training/explanation/ practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly, thereafter to inspect/monitor the work and rectify any problems
