The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires technical expertise in HVAC systems, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including split units, ducted systems, and chillers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Calibrate and optimize system performance for energy efficiency.
Ensure all work complies with UAE safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians on-site.
Train and guide junior technicians or apprentices when required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC is preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in AC maintenance and installation, preferably in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Good physical condition and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
