Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Repair Duties

Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive air conditioning and climate control systems Recharge, evacuate, and refill AC refrigerants as per manufacturer specifications Identify and fix electrical or mechanical faults in AC systems Conduct regular preventive maintenance of vehicle AC systems Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper AC functionality

Customer & Service Support

Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and required repairs Advise customers on AC maintenance and care tips Ensure timely completion of AC service tasks

Safety & Compliance

Follow workshop safety protocols and use protective equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshop tools and equipment Comply with environmental regulations for refrigerant handling

Documentation

Record service details, repairs, and replaced parts accurately Maintain logbooks for completed AC jobs and service history

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as an Auto AC Technician or similar role Knowledge of automotive AC systems, compressors, condensers, and electrical circuits Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals Certification in Automotive Air Conditioning is an advantage Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team and handle multiple vehicles efficiently
