Role Summary
Azizi Developments is hiring an Authorities Manager in Dubai, UAE to lead and oversee all coordination with government and regulatory authorities for real estate projects. The role ensures timely approvals, permits, and NOCs from authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, RTA, DEWA, and Civil Defense while ensuring compliance with UAE construction codes and local regulations.

What You'll Do
Develop strategies for obtaining permits, approvals, and NOCs for real estate projects.
Serve as the primary liaison with Dubai government authorities.
Supervise a team of authority executives and engineers.
Review and approve submission packages to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate with design, planning, MEP, and construction teams to align submissions.
Stay up to date on changes in local authority requirements and building codes.
Attend meetings with regulatory bodies and represent the company in negotiations.
Track approval status and provide timely reports to senior management.
Resolve issues that impact design, construction timelines, or costs.
Maintain approval-related documentation for audit and handover.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Urban Planning (Master's degree preferred).
8-10 years of relevant experience in authority approvals, with at least three years in a managerial role in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, development guidelines, and submission processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and e-service authority portals.
Fluency in English is required.
