The project:
Mace is delivering PMC services across a significant portfolio of high-value mixed-use developments. The projects are at various stages of the development cycle and need to be managed through planning, design, procurement and delivery on what is a multi-year assignment.
You'll be responsible for:

• Leads the implementation and delivery of comprehensive stakeholder management services across assigned commissions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence.
• Provides leadership and guidance to team members within the designated Hub, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Holds full accountability for supporting specialist functions within the stakeholder management service, applying expert knowledge to drive value and consistency across commissions.
• Ensures that all stakeholder-related activities are executed with precision and professionalism.
• Designs and deploys tailored stakeholder management frameworks and strategies that reflect the unique needs of each commission.
• Directs and coordinates efforts among clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration on all stakeholder matters.
• Acts as the central point of contact for stakeholder engagement within the commission.
• Establishes and nurtures strong professional relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Works proactively to understand client needs, manage expectations, and deliver stakeholder solutions that exceed standards.
• Provides expert advice on stakeholder and communications standards, processes, and tools.
• Manages risks and issues effectively, supports structured governance, and ensures timely reporting to facilitate informed decision-making and performance tracking.
• Develops and maintains functional management strategies, plans, and tools that are aligned with key performance indicators.
• Tracks progress rigorously to ensure stakeholder objectives are met and continuously improved.
• Works closely with the stakeholder & communications service director and project manager to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensures stakeholder activities are integrated with broader project controls and delivery strategies.
• Ensures all stakeholder operations comply with Mace Control Centre protocols, client requirements, and relevant legislation. Maintains high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all stakeholder-related activities.
• Provides line management and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their professional growth and career development.
• Contributes to recruitment and resourcing efforts, and actively supports the transition to net zero carbon by identifying and managing carbon impacts throughout project delivery.

You'll need to have:

• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
• Experience (or equivalent) supporting the delivery of a stakeholder & communications services within the construction sector and/or management consultancy.
• Progress towards achievement of Chartered status (or equivalent) and/or membership of professional a relevant professional institution e.g. Association of Project Managers.
