About the Role

We are Looking for an experienced

Authorised

Finance Officer

to manage and optimise the financial operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements of our clients within the DIFC and ADGM jurisdictions.


The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to support strategic financial planning and decision making.

Your New Role

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:



Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with IFRS Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other financial transactions Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely submission of required documentation Review payments, accruals, and payroll Critically assess financial reports and raise queries around accounting principles, auditing standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Ensure full compliance with DIFC/DFSA and ADGM/FSRA regulations Prepare, review, and submit regulatory returns (EPRS - DIFC/ADGM) Monitor and report on clients' Capital Adequacy Requirements (CAR) Maintain accurate documentation to meet AML and KYC obligations Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies Support the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets and improve efficiency Ensure timely preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns Monitor changes to local tax laws and update relevant processes Liaise with DIFC/ADGM regulatory authorities as needed Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and third-party service providers Prepare financial projections and models to support licence applications and regulatory business plans

What will you need to succeed in this role?

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years' relevant experience in accounting and financial management Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and local compliance requirements Familiarity with DFSA and FSRA regulatory frameworks Knowledge of AML/KYC obligations under UAE law Proficiency in accounting software Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (desirable) Prior experience in DIFC or ADGM as an Authorised Individual (desirable)
