Audit Supervisor

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to lead our audit engagements and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international auditing standards. As an Audit Supervisor, you will oversee audit teams, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest quality of audit deliverables.

Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning and Execution:

Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with international standards and UAE regulations.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance on audit techniques and client engagement.

3. UAE Taxation Compliance:

Ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws, including VAT, ESR, and other applicable regulations.

4. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding client needs and offering proactive audit and advisory solutions.

5. Quality Assurance:

Review audit working papers and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Participate in firm initiatives to improve audit methodologies, tools, and practices.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Certifications: CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in UAE or GCC region preferred.

Tax Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of UAE taxation rules, including VAT and ESR.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software and MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
