Position Overview
The Audit Manager role in Dubai, UAE is a senior assurance position responsible for developing and executing comprehensive financial and operational audit programs across the Group. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain audit policies, plans, objectives, and procedures across operational and financial audits.
• Prepare the annual operational and financial audit plan, including scope, locations, timelines, and budgeted audit days.
• Review and approve audit planning documents for each engagement and ensure audit quality and completeness.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems across business units.
• Review financial and operating information for accuracy, reliability, and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Assess asset safeguarding practices and the efficiency of resource utilization.
• Review files and records required for audit purposes and evidence validation.
• Review audit reports for accuracy and clarity, conduct audit review meetings, and prepare executive and monthly summary reports.
• Track and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to closure.
• Enhance the use of computer-assisted audit techniques and coordinate with IS Audit for technology-enabled reviews.
• Participate in the selection, training, supervision, and development of audit staff to international standards.
• Manage timely completion of audits with effective stakeholder coordination.
• Stay current with emerging internal audit practices and execute special or ad hoc assignments as required.
• Investigate frauds and misappropriations, quantify losses, identify control gaps, and recommend preventive measures.
• Liaise with external auditors to coordinate coverage and assess control effectiveness.

Ideal Profile

• MBA in Finance or professionally qualified accountant.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operational and financial audits.
• Strong exposure across sectors such as Trading, Retail, Manufacturing, and Real Estate.
• High proficiency with computerized financial and operational systems.
• Strong analytical, technical, and management capabilities with excellent communication skills.
