Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the UAE to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Audiology or a related field and possess a valid DOH (Department of Health) license. The Audiologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages while providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech testing, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments for hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders.
  • Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids and assistive listening devices based on patient needs.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and hearing aid use.
  • Conduct newborn hearing screenings and pediatric audiological assessments.
  • Collaborate with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with DOH regulations.
  • Ensure all audiological equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in audiology technology and treatment methods.
  • Assist in inventory management of hearing aids and audiological supplies.
Patient Care & Follow-Up:
  • Provide post-fitting follow-ups and adjustments for hearing aid users.
  • Offer rehabilitation services, including auditory training and aural rehabilitation programs.
  • Address patient concerns and ensure high satisfaction with hearing solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Audiology or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the UAE.
  • Valid DOH (Department of Health) license is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of hearing aid technology and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
