In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source of information for the world's most influential business leaders.
We're seeking an Audience Development Manager to join our innovative Bloomberg Live team on a 5 month contract. In this role, you'll help recruit senior international executives and local leaders to attend world-class in-person events such as the Qatar Economic Forum.
We'll trust you to:

Act as a primary recruitment lead for various local and regional delegate communities to attend the Qatar Economic Forum
Assist in delivering comprehensive audience recruitment strategies around the Qatar Economic Forum and any lead up events to the Forum
Develop positive relationships with local stakeholders in order to achieve specific event goals
Have a strong presence with clients to explain and set critical metrics and quotas as is relates to specific event initiatives
Build and lead delegate invitation lists for partners and stakeholders
Help support our client experience team in the registration of sponsor delegations and ensure their seamless registration and arrival process
Assist in the recruitment of delegates to join partner sponsored moments at the Forum
Work with external partners to ensure all trackers and data sets align
Maintain information within CRM tools like Salesforce and other event technology solutions
Monitor and lead event specific inboxes to ensure inbound questions are answered in a timely manner
Fulfill other related duties, as assigned
You'll need to have:

5-8 years working in events, marketing, government relations or client management
Experience working with Salesforce, registration and lead generation systems such as CVENT.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular, strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Proficiency working with technology tools and initiative to pick up new technologies easily
Strong attention to detail and good judgment when handling and processing sensitive information
Extensive global industry knowledge and understanding of leading public and private sector entities and their leadership structures
Deep connections in the local business community
Comfortability cold-calling and communicating with senior executive teams, their communications teams and government agencies to attend in-person events
Knowledge of government protocols and a strong knowledge of regional institutions, corporations and government entities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be a great teammate and work across time zones with global counterparts
