Job Description

The purpose of this position is to perform, on behalf of an independent arm under Engineering, audits of the maintenance activities performed by all maintenance departments of the Dubai Metro.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Senior Assurance Inspector to perform maintenance audits of work conducted (using the MMS as a baseline) and verify the correct closure of WO\'s.
  • Assist the Senior Assurance Inspector to investigate long outstanding WO\'s that cannot be completed.
  • Use proper PPE on site.
  • Verify that maintenance teams use proper tools and reference to technical drawings/schematics, manuals, procedures and work instructions when performing repair and maintenance work.
  • Assist the Senior Assurance Inspector to perform Finished Work Inspections on site.
  • Assist the Senior Assurance Inspector to perform Work In Process Inspections on site.
  • Assist the Senior Assurance Inspector to review current maintenance Work Instructions versus recommended maintenance activities by the OEM.
  • Work a shift pattern to enable maximum exposure to teams during PM/CM activities across the Metro.
  • Provide support and guidance to NMOC as-well as reviews of fault reports & Categorization(Continued Lessons Learnt).
  • Work with departments to inspect PM tasks that \'cannot be completed\' because of the design, and propose workable technical solutions.
  • Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the Systems Assurance Engineer.
  • Ensure compliance with the Keolis-MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.
  • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis-MHI non-disclosure policy.
  • To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis-MHI organisational HSE responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis-MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.
  • To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working in Keolis-MHI\'s controlled premises/systems.
  • Promote a good SAE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.
  • Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager, Departmental Safety Meetings and any other appropriate available channels.
  • Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based from all threats whether internal, external, deliberate or accidental.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Requires a working knowledge of the asset data, hierarchy, reporting, workflow and modules utilized within the Dubai Metro application.
  • Requires a working knowledge of the project management techniques to control planned and unplanned work. Furthermore, he will work closely with stakeholders and subcontractor when they are required.
  • Requires a working knowledge of the E&M departmental maintenance and reporting requirements, with experience of report development, from requirements to report creation and implementation.
  • Requires a working knowledge/literacy of Safety, proper PPE on site work.
  • Requires a working knowledge/literacy of Quality standards (ISO9001), Document change control (Q-Pulse) and CMMS.
  • Requires undertaking audit of the subcontract\'s compliance with the maintenance regime documentation and instructions.
  • Monitoring the workmanship and competence of the subcontractor\'s maintainers.
  • Provides technical and assurance support to the respective contract managers.
KEY SKILLS
  • Good in writing technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required.
  • Able to update daily work progress through simple and detailed reports.
  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Should have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Hold a valid driving license with good driving skill and experience will be added advantage.
  • Strong technical mind, and ability to grasp the complexity of Metro assets design and functioning.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years work experience as a qualified technician in maintaining Dubai Metro assets or equivalent systems.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFCATION
  • Minimum 2 years Vocational trade certificate or 3 years Engineering Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
