Duties & Responsibilities: Establishing an effective and independent internal audit service for the management support, managing a sound Internal Control System within the PMU and planning, supervising and reporting the results of all internal audits and related assignments with recommendations wherever applicable. 1.Conducting Internal Control evaluation and risk assessment to identify loopholes and areas requiring management intervention to prevent frauds, embezzlements, misappropriations, misuse and wastage and ensuring that objectives of the Company are achieved economically, efficiently and effectively; 2. Preparing an Annual Internal Audit Plan based on risk assessment including tasks, assignments and timelines for completion for each task and main activities, personnel to be employed, and reporting results of audit; 3. Preparing special reports for by the top management on various aspects of financial management, including asset management and security, financial reporting, decision support systems, management Information systems; 4. Facilitating the undertaking periodic reviews and annual audit of financial transactions as per the Government rules and requirements and assisting the management in drafting replies for audit. 5. Assisting the finance department in preparation the critical areas like meeting financial obligations under procurements and the process itself. Specifying internal checks including pre-audit checks, adherence to policies procedures and compliance with rules, laws and regulations to ensure that payments to contractors/consultants are made by them in accordance with the stipulated guidelines of the government laws and Regulations. 6. Ensuring that systems exist for generation of accurate and reliable financial and other information; 7. Conducting any other related task that may be assigned by the Top management SKILLS: Minimum experience of 4 years and in case of others 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of developing and implementing internal controls and conducting Audit People Management and Interpersonal Communication, Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills Teamwork Skills, Analytical Skills and Resourcefulness and Responsibility and Multi-Tasking.
