We are hiring an
Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical - Protection)
for aSubstation project
. The candidate will supervise electrical protection works, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of protection systems in substations. Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards. Review protection system designs, method statements, and testing procedures. Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Coordinate with client, consultants, and contractors for technical clarifications. Prepare progress and technical reports for management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in
substation protection works
. Strong knowledge of IEC standards, relay coordination, and testing. GCC/UAE experience preferred. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: Up to AED14,000.00 per month
