Job Description

Scope Based in our Riyadh Office, we're looking to recruit a qualified Member of the RICS and Registered Valuer as an Associate Partner with a flexible attitude and variable skill set to work primarily on commercial valuation instructions with the capability of mentoring and training joiner staff members.

Responsibilities Business Generation & Fee Income Have the ability to increase the range and quantity of instructions via business generation to ensure development of the department as a whole. Undertake such valuations in an accurate and professional manner. Understand and be proficient in the use of all the office technology employed in undertaking valuations. Especially ARGUS Enterprise and ARGUS Estate Master. Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the Middle East and Global business. Attend events to promote the department and firm amongst clients and professional organisations. Client Care Understand local ways of working and be respectful of the same. Respond quickly to client enquiries. Foster the professional image of Knight Frank at all times. Be capable in the preparation of reports with support from junior staff members. Be able to lead projects for demanding public sector clients and understand local ways of working and be sympathetic to local client requirements.

Professional Standards Acquire and build a sound knowledge of property markets and legal case law. Take a close interest in the property press and the national press with a view to building up a wide perspective of the property market and related activities. Adhere to all deadlines set for the completion of work. Maintain neat tidy orderly file records of valuations, including computer files at all times. Fully understand office records and vetting procedures and be able to make good use of all the available information contained therein. Maintain confidentiality in respect of all work undertaken by the Department and to be aware of what is likely to be sensitive information. Abide by the principle of Continuing Professional Development as required by the RICS. Comply with Knight Frank Best Practice procedures. Ensure consistency between project objectives and project work plan and take responsibility for project strategy, objectives and scope.

Team Liaise with members of other departments and to get to know the individuals and their markets both for the purpose of obtaining information in support of valuations and also to look for opportunities for cross selling of business. Work closely with the development consultancy and research teams to ensure accuracy of data and market information use for all assignments. Assist with oversight of others and manage the local team allocating workloads appropriately, often for multiple complex and diverse projects. Produce project plans for complex projects and take responsibility for monitoring, QA and best practice. Act as a role model on policies regarding document storage and filing, clean desk policies and all internal operational policies. Monitor resources, team communications and tasks to achieve project work plan and client deadlines. Manage service delivery and delegates appropriate level of autonomy and decision making. Participate in firm wide marketing of the business. Take a lead in the development of KF awareness in the market through marketing and business development. Support KF senior management where needed both through business development and client management. Mentor joiner staff members and assist in the uplift of relevant valuation skills. Assist joiner staff members through their APC journey.

Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile

Qualifications/Education Required RICS qualified with a minimum of 7 years of relevant valuation experience. Career Experience Experienced commercial Valuer. Trained at a respected global real estate advisor. Registered under the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme. Professional Member of the RICS (MRICS). Proven track record of mentoring junior staff members. Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required The capacity for accuracy, attention to detail, an orderly approach to work and numeracy. The ability to communicate facts clearly and in writing and to produce reports. The commitment and determination to investigate thoroughly and seek out information necessary for the accurate valuation of property. The ability to comprehend and make use of computers and information technology. Willingness and flexibility to work loyally as part of a team, in different locations and with travel to all parts of the Kingdom. The personality to engage with other professionals and general public alike in promoting the firm and building profile in a professional manner. Ability to manage junior team members and mentor / train analysts and interns. Ability to attend pitches and presentations with senior client personnel, and stand in for the Partner as required.
