The Role
We are looking for Associates to join our UAE or KSA offices. Working with some of the brightest and most experienced colleagues in the industry, you will develop and implement forward-looking concepts and support your clients in the context of strategy, performance improvement, transformation, implementation, pre- and post-deal support, and others.
You will have the opportunity to take your career to the next level by gaining invaluable experience across industries and sectors on a variety of interesting and critical projects.
As an Associate, you will independently develop ideas and solutions to address the client’s issues and begin to own workstreams with oversight and support as and where required. As part of a team, you will be working closely with many experienced professionals who will provide you with developmental feedback and growth opportunities.
The Responsibilities
From the beginning, you will work in a fast-growing and dynamic team to:

  • synthesize information and analysis into high quality outputs and recommendations; this includes building models based on financial and/or operational data and requires strong knowledge of Excel (to analyze the data) and PowerPoint (to present the analyses)
  • maximize efficiency and proactively find solutions to increase productivity; employ the pareto principle on assigned deliverables to determine where to devote energy to optimize results
  • take ownership of tasks and generate viable solutions, with moderate oversight and guidance
  • understand and manage processes for assigned tasks, and meet assigned deadlines
  • build mid-level client relationships, and understand the needs of mid-level management in day-to-day interactions
  • support the team to identify a portfolio of high-impact opportunities across the enterprise, ranging from quick wins to the ‘tough calls’ which deliver transformational results
  • support managing directors and other senior members of the team with client pitch production
  • actively participate in firm-building committees and initiatives such as recruiting, learning and development, culture, marketing, and finance
    The Requirements
    We are looking for people who have:
    • a high-grade bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university (business/management, engineering, law, accounting or similar disciplines are preferred but not essential)
    • at least two years of prior full-time consulting experience or at least three years of full-time non-consulting work experience in financial services roles such as banking, asset management, etc.
    • excellent problem-solving, oral and written communication, and financial skills underpinned with analytical rigor
    • passion to further develop skills and solve challenges in financial services industries
    • a track record of solving complex business and financial problems;
    • an understanding of how to collaborate with a variety of people at different levels; and,
      People who can demonstrate:
      • comfort with ambiguity;
      • high integrity characterized by the ability to deliver difficult messages;
      • strong growth prospects and the tenacity to learn from setbacks; and,
      • a desire to be part of A&M’s ambitious growth plans.
        Desirable (but not essential):
        • Arabic language skills
        • additional European languages are also desirable
          Diversity & Inclusion
          A&M’s entrepreneurial culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who can positively impact our clients and shape our industry.
