Job Description

Our Building Engineering team are expanding and we're currently recruiting Fire, Life and Safety Design Associates to join our rail and stations project team, in Dubai. The Associate would work as part of a multi disciplinary team, consisting of Architects and Building Services Engineers.
Responsibilities:
+ Design and assessment of building fabric elements (building envelope, internal partitioning, indoor finishes);
+ Design and assessment of building systems elements (electrical, mechanical and communication systems);
+ Development of modelling and use of acoustic prediction tools;
+ Development of communication tools for acoustic design to be implement into construction documentation
+ Noise and vibration surveys and benchmark tests;
+ Definition of acoustic targets based on suitable international and local references, for environmental acoustics, airborne and impact sound insulation, room acoustics, architectural acoustics, equipment noise and electro-acoustics;
Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years experience in the Fire, Life and Safety field
• Knowledge and understanding of basic Acoustic Discipline
• Knowledge and understanding of FLS disciplines
• CFD Analysis for Indoor and outdoor spaces for analysis
• Good Knowledge and understanding of Design Stage Sustainability Deliverables
• Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD)
• Indoor and Outdoor Comfort Analysis
• Indoor Smoke Ventilation Analysis
• Code Development Skills C/C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab, Labview
• Cad 2D/3D, Catia, AutoCad, Solid Works

Preferred Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Building Science, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering field of study
