Publicis Groupe MENA is seeking an experienced Data Sciences professional with hands-on experience in AdTech, MarTech and Analytics, to lead Strategy & New Business for the Data Sciences practice in MENA. The position plays a vital role in helping define the Data Sciences strategy and product for the years to come, along with representing the Data Sciences product on all New Business pitch responses.

Main Tasks:

A) People

  • Collaborate with the Data Sciences vertical leads (AdTech, MarTech, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Research) to help evolve their product offering and make it market-leading / future ready.
  • Collaborate with other practice strategy leads to cross-develop solutions.
  • Evangelize a data-based approach to marketing and business decision making across the wider Publicis Groupe eco-system.
  • Become a point of escalation for certain people/projects/products where needed.
B) Product
  • Work with the Head of Data Sciences to define the Data Sciences strategy and go-to-market approach for the MENA region.
  • Represent the Data Sciences response in any new business pitch- identifying the relevant solution areas, building slides in a story-telling manner, and integrating the response into the overall story.
  • Be a generalist of the MarTech/AdTech space - have a technical and strategic understanding of the AdTech/MarTech eco-system.
  • Device future-proof first-party data strategies for clients across diverse verticals/markets.
  • Complement our clients' consumer experience (CX) journeys from a data standpoint.
  • Work with the team to build analytics solutions around CRM and Commerce.
  • Working understanding of regulations and industry-specific concerns around data privacy and data storage.
  • Elevate benchmarking and competition analysis to ensure competitive advantage and edge is maintained.
  • Manage and elevate the collaterals of the practice end to end include credentials, case studies, and product decks.
  • Own the Martech/Adtech trends and insights updates to the groupe.
C) Partners
  • Be the go-to person on the Data Sciences product offering in the region, including
  • working with existing clients to identify any solutions that can help address a use case (up-sell/cross-sell)
  • inducting new joiners and new clients into the Groupe's Data Sciences offering
  • driving QBRs across clients from a data sciences servicing standpoint
  • Lead and sustain partnership conversations with key technology partners, including structuring and managing JBPs and JTPs.
  • Lead and deliver on certification programs that solidifies Publicis' commercial footing and shows us as market leaders from a knowledge perspective.
  • Assess, evaluate, and bring in new partners that elevate the servicing catalogue of the data sciences offering with a cost-effective strategy in mind.
D) Process
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive projects in a meticulous manner.
  • Implement a project management system to quality control the output.
  • Implement a quality assurance process in place.
E) Profits
  • Manage the financial tracker management for the practice.
  • Drive the growth of the practice set year on year with dynamically balancing the resources to the expected targets of each vertical.
  • Own and drive the opportunity matrix (OPMA) with the existing BLs.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in some or all Data Sciences vertical areas: AdTech, MarTech, Analytics, Business Intelligence/Data Engineering, Research
  • Strong technical aptitude and client servicing skills, as well as deep knowledge of the Martech and measurement eco-system.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the first-party data eco-system.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the performance media eco-system.
  • Familiarity with data management; experience working with data development, engineering, and data science teams.
  • Proficient analytical and Excel skills.
  • Bonus Experience: Python, JavaScript, SQL and cloud services e.g. BigQuery.
  • Experience as a customer-facing technical solution consultant, with:
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in critical problem-solving and data management techniques
  • Ability to influence internally and externally to facilitate adoption of technology and best practices
  • Strong communication, editing and writing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, collaborative and team-oriented environment, including:
  • Experience working with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base
  • Managing tasks and time commitments to meet project deadlines
  • And keeping up with changing priorities and adhering to standardized processes and procedures
