About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for Associate Director - Food and Beverage in Jumeirah Al Naseem.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Main Duties:
To assist the Director of Food and Beverage in supervising and coordinating all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation.
To maximizes profitability, set targets for the month and maximize revenues to meet the monthly budgets.
To assist in monitoring and analysing the activities and trends for competitive restaurants and bars.
To monitors the food cost and beverage costs.
To participates in the preparation of the department performance plan and yearly budget.
To observes and evaluates colleagues and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service is met.
To mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to Outlet Managers & Assistant Outlet Managers to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement.
To reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
To oversees all food and beverage presentations and quality in all venues.
To assists each outlet manager in the planning and implementation of effective sales and promotional activities to ensure maximum revenues.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A hotel degree or equivalent qualification from a reputable business/hospitality institution.
Experience within a similar role with high-end establishments, five-star hotels, or renowned restaurants.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and cashiering systems like Micros (Micros-Fidelio, HIS, Oracle Hospitality) or similar point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Fluency in multiple languages relevant to the target markets is preferred (Russian, Spanish, French, German or Arabic).
