Job Title: Associate Director - Creation & Development Direct Manager: Project Director - Creation & Development Division: Attractions Department : Creation & Development Job location: Riyadh Job Purpose Associate Director - Creation & Development Manages all business activities related to creation and development of Attractions as well as playing a role of the creative engine for the attractions and manages IP Sourcing and/or creation, Blackbox activities, concept design and building attractions' business plans to ensure competitive and innovative entertainment offerings. Managerial Accountabilities, Key Accountability Areas, Key Activities Stakeholders' Relations Act as SEVEN's representative with local and international ventures and enterprises to establish and maintain good working relationships with the key stakeholders within and outside the SEVEN Budget Comply with the budget approved in his unit to ensure appropriate utilization for SEVEN's financial resources Supervise Creation & Development Team budget utilization during the year across all related functions to ensure that the spending is in alignment with the submitted and approved budget Governance and Resilience Monitor the operational activities within the Creation & Development Team to ensure its compliance with the policies and procedures Lead Creation & Development Team's day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with the approved policies & procedures People Management Provides his subordinates with ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure their continuous improvement Conduct the annual appraisal evaluation in compliance with the HR policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair evaluation for his subordinates' performance Functional Accountabilities Key Accountability Areas, Key Activities Attraction Creation & Development Manage the design process for SEVEN's attractions in alignment with the operations' leads to ensure sufficient support to delivery managers during schematic and detailed designs and fit-out Manage the idea generation, concepts development, characters development and events for SEVEN's attractions to ensure promoting competitive and innovative entertainment offerings Manage providing and concluding overarching business plan needed inputs in the developing phase (e.g., pricing, footfall, F&B and merchandising mix, capital estimates, etc.) to ensure consistent and effective business plans across all attractions Manage creating or sourcing IPs for attractions and align the commercialization after its creation to promote a competitive offering Manage attractions development within Complexes until handover to delivery team after confirming pre-concept design, as well as attractions within Parks ensuring that the designs are anchored and coordinated Budget Allocation Manage and align budget allocation to the development of attractions and budget distribution ensuring adhering to the approved budgets and financial targets Service Providers Management Manage sourcing the development relevant designers, consultants, and specialists to conduct development activities, and support the delivery of the attractions overall Conduct a periodical performance review for the sub-contractors and relevant designers to ensure the application of the pre-concept design and serving business plan Manage the interactions with relevant suppliers in the market Manage the communications and operations of Blackbox activation requirements Communications & Working Relationships Key Internal Interactions: Complexes Development Delivery Business Support Finance Key External Interactions Consultants & Designers KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with Business and Management Professional Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years in management role Entertainment/real estate operated large scale of mixed used assets experience is essential.
