This role will support the financial accounting activities for multiple legal entities across the EMEA region, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls. Based in Dubai, the Associate Accounting Manager will play a key part in month-end closing, tax compliance, financial analysis, and office administration oversight.

Description
Manage month end close activities including accruals, payroll entries, journals and provisions
Oversee entity close processes across local accounting systems and US reporting platforms
Maintain the nominal ledger and prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor daily sales performance and maintain associated reporting and master data
Lead margin analysis on a weekly basis and support forecast submissions
Deliver variance analysis with clear management commentary
Review, reconcile and resolve intercompany balances for all assigned entities
Manage royalty and rebate accrual processes
Update exchange rates and monitor exposure to foreign currency risk
Act as the key point of contact for external auditors in the UAE and UK
Ensure compliance with internal controls and segregation of duties requirements
Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and assist with other indirect tax requirements
Coordinate UAE corporate tax filings, documentation and compliance with ESR regulations
Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles
Build financial models that support strategic and operational decision making
Identify and implement improvements to processes, systems and automation
Partner with commercial and operational teams by providing financial insight and support
Oversee HR administrative processes including onboarding documentation and compliance
Manage Dubai office administrative functions including vendor coordination and utilities
Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Professional accounting board membership preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting environment
At least 2 years' experience handling office administration responsibilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong capability in other MS Office tools
Experience with ERP or BI systems is an advantage
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Candidates must be based in the UAE
