IIQAF is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Underwriter to join our dedicated team in Dubai. In this entry-level role, you will assist in evaluating insurance applications, analyzing risk factors, and helping to determine coverage terms and conditions. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide excellent service and innovative insurance solutions to our clients in a competitive market. We offer a competitive salary range of AED 6,500 - AED 7,000 monthly, along with a supportive work environment that encourages professional development.

Responsibilities

Assist in the evaluation of insurance applications and risk assessments Support underwriters in determining coverage and pricing Review and analyze policy documents and client information Maintain accurate records and documentation related to underwriting Communicate effectively with clients and brokers regarding policy inquiries Participate in team meetings and contribute to underwriting strategies Stay updated on industry trends and regulations Provide administrative support to the underwriting team as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field No prior experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Basic understanding of insurance principles is a plus * Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
