Job Summary:



An Order Fulfillment Center Assistant Supervisor supports the Fulfillment Center Supervisor or Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the fulfillment center. This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and meeting customer service and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervising Order Processing:

Overseeing the picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Team Management:

Leading, training, and motivating fulfillment associates, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

Inventory Control:

Assisting in maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies.

Operational Efficiency:

Implementing and monitoring processes to optimize workflow, reduce errors, and improve productivity.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that products are handled, picked, and packed according to quality standards.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring the team follows proper safety protocols.

Problem Solving:

Addressing and resolving operational issues, such as shipping delays, inventory shortages, or damaged goods.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicating with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service, transportation) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and SAP experience is must.

Basic knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
