Role Summary
Amazon is hiring a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of new Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, and Sortation Centers across the AMET region. Based in Dubai with up to 60% travel, this is a hands-on leadership role that blends engineering, project management, and cross-border collaboration. You'll oversee complex builds from site selection through to handover-making an impact at scale for one of the world's most customer-centric companies.

What You'll Do

• Manage new construction projects, facility expansions, and major renovations for logistics hubs across AMET
• Lead the full project lifecycle-from feasibility and design coordination to contractor oversight and close-out
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders, technical teams, and general contractors to ensure efficient delivery
• Oversee contract negotiations, budget forecasting, and schedule management
• Perform site validation, due diligence, and risk assessments to guide early decisions
• Track performance metrics (safety, quality, sustainability, cost, and schedule) for each project
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and Amazon's internal H&S standards
• Review designs and construction progress to meet evolving logistics needs
• Analyze cost changes and contract variations for risk, efficiency, and impact
• Communicate project status across cross-functional teams, including senior leadership
• Support the onboarding and transition of new facilities into operations

Ideal Profile

• 7+ years of experience in project management, construction, or real estate development
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction-related discipline
• Experience managing large-scale industrial or logistics facilities ($100M+ preferred)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Multilingual fluency preferred (Arabic, French, Turkish, German, etc.)
• Comfortable with 40-60% regional travel
• Background in Amazon FC launches is a strong plus
