Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager to perform a variety of loading/unloading of daily clients' orders for delivery, shipping, receiving, and stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other staff; and perform related work as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Daily loading/unloading of finished products for drivers' daily delivery.
Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment at the warehouses.
Supervise other staff members.
Keep a record of incoming/outgoing stocks.
Should possess reporting skills to be able to coordinate with the accountant for the accurate inventory and provide day-to-day feedback on operational control to the operations manager.
Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes.
Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles them with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents, and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Compile the records of the supplies.
Disseminate the supply in its designated areas.
Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains records of approved documents.
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
Respond to supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
Perform buying duties when necessary.
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogues and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
Requirements:

1. The successful candidate must have worked within the FMCG/HORECA/F&B sector in UAE, with experience in a commercial environment.

2. Must have at least 2 to 4 years' experience in any reputed distribution company.

3. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

4. Must be able to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

5. Able to work with minimum supervision and has a positive attitude towards his work.

6. Must have a bachelor's degree and exceptional knowledge in excel

7. Flexible in working hours

Physical Aspects of Position:



1. Must be able to lift heavy objects

2. Must be able to work in cold and hot environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
