Job Description

: The job holder will be responsible to Support Store Manager to drive sales through efficient store operations, visual merchandising, customer service delivery, motivation and retention of store personnel and adherence to company norms. Coach the team and drive for continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Commercial Performance
Maximize productivity targets (Sales per sq.ft / per staff, ATV, Conversion, Basket size, etc.)
Formulate and implement retail strategies and procedures in discussion with Sr. Store Manager / ARM
Control costs within budgetary guidelines
Ensure effective Stock and Space Management
Provide monthly feedback on competitor and their event activities
Suggest improvements based on benchmark practices
2. Inventory Management & Stock Distribution
Ensure effective Inventory management for the store( order management [Min-Max}, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock return and shrinkage)
Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring KDCN , implementing corrective action to be taken
Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges (D) and implement necessary action
Ensure pricing of merchandise as per norms KMP and HCISS format
Conduct regular cycle count and stock take as per SOP
Control all types of damages as per guidelines
Provision of monthly feedback to Store Manager / ARM on sales, stock positions, staff performance (PE) and products.
3.Business Management & Development
Understand Store dynamics (customer behaviour, competition awareness, market understanding, etc.)
Actively providing feedback o Department custodians / Planning / Buying
Coordinate and participate in VM workshops
Coordinate with logistics team for smooth after sales delivery on time
Assist Store Manager / ARM to develop new SOP's / guidelines
4. Operational Standards and Management
Ensure the store is in compliance with the store operations and customer service standards (SOP)
Ensure store is in 100% compliance with KMP latest version / retail guidelines
Ensure the store is in compliance with the company policy on employment and country laws, health and safety standards.
Ensure the store portrays the company image in all aspects of personal presentation and adheres to the company dress code as laid out by the company
Ensure store sales, promotions are planned effectively, executed promptly and maintained professionally to the expected standards
People Management
Ensure that all new recruits understand their job and inducted well within the company
Ensure all staff member attend relevant training within the specified time frame from the date of joining.
Monitor and appraise the performance of retail staffs in coordination with Store Manager / Area Retail Managers and developing individual career plans and succession planning
Set KPI's for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal
Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees / staffs
Assist Store Manager / ARM in training for new managers and GMT's
Qualifications: Post Graduate
