Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Assistant Sales Manager

with a proven track record in sales leadership within a

product-based industry

. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent team management skills, and a minimum of

5 years of experience in a sales leadership role

. You will be responsible for supporting sales strategy execution, managing client relationships, mentoring the sales team, and contributing to the achievement of revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the sales team to ensure targets and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to recommend improvements. Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional activities based on market demand and competition. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience

in a

sales leadership role

, preferably in a

product-based industry

. Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire sales teams toward meeting business goals. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Education:

MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in CRM tools and sales data analysis platforms. Deep understanding of customer lifecycle and B2B/B2C sales processes. Adaptability to a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
