About the Role

New World Horizon Qatar is seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support our expanding operations in the Oil & Gas sector.
This role involves supporting both sales and procurement of industrial materials and equipment, with a key focus on the GCC market. You will work closely with senior management to strengthen client relationships, drive new business, and support efficient sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing sales strategies to meet company targets. Identify, pursue, and follow up on new business leads and project opportunities. Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents accurately and on time. Support procurement by coordinating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely deliveries. Maintain strong communication with key clients, vendors, and internal teams. Conduct competitor research and market analysis to support pricing and positioning. Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure smooth execution of orders. Deliver excellent customer service and after-sales support. Collaborate with the Sales Manager on marketing, promotions, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. >5 years' experience in sales and procurement of Oil & Gas materials/equipment (GCC preferred). Strong knowledge of industrial materials, piping components, and equipment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage. Must be currently

residing in Qatar

with valid transferable documents.
