Assistant Restaurant Manager - Sofra BLD

We have a great opportunity for Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Sofra BLD All Day Dining Restaurant at Shangri-La, Qaryat al Beri.

Previous experience in a luxury Hotel
Trained in International Food & Beverages
Understands the need for efficiency and organisation.
Experience in managing busy breakfast operations
Communicates effectively with colleagues/management.
Creative and think out of the box in buffet concepts
Enjoys planning, organizing and problem solving
What will you do?
Support the Restaurant Service and culinary team in daily operations
Maximize upsell and meet outlet profitability
Remain aware of quality & standards within the premises and ensure the highest possible care is taken to provide high quality fare in all outlets.
Acheive outlet peformance matrix and ensure quality of service is excellent at all times
Resolve guests complaints and provide memorable experiences
Foster a culture of dynamic & innovative work whilst remaining true to the Shangri-La Values.
Train and mentor colleagues

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style.
