Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)

to join our supervision team in

Dubai

. The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years of experience in consultancy engineering and will support the Resident Engineer in the day-to-day management and supervision of construction activities, ensuring project compliance, quality standards, and smooth coordination with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the

Resident Engineer (RE)

in supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities.

Review

and provide technical feedback on

shop drawings

,

material submittals

, and

Requests for Information (RFIs)

. Monitor ongoing site works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. Conduct inspections and maintain detailed

site inspection records

,

daily reports

, and

quality assurance documentation

. Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety and quality protocols.

Liaise

with contractors, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly.

Act as the Resident Engineer

in their absence, taking over duties as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

8-10 years

of relevant experience, preferably with a reputable consultancy firm. Strong understanding of

construction supervision practices

, site coordination, and project documentation. Proven experience in

reviewing technical submittals

, shop drawings, and RFIs. Familiarity with

local building codes

,

Dubai Municipality

regulations, and

international standards

. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficient in

MS Office

,

AutoCAD

, and other relevant engineering software.
