The InterContinental Hotels Group\xc2\xae properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. A little taste of your day-to-day

• Support in managing the reservations team in collaboration with the Reservations Manager or Revenue Manager
• Provide training to team members in telephone etiquette, communication standards, and reservations procedures to ensure consistent high-level service.
• Ensure adherence to IHG DFC standards and monitor compliance.
• Assess training needs and proactively assist in team training.
• Assist in improving call conversion ratios and revenue opportunities through training, coaching, and counseling.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the hotel and Dubai, including room types, facilities, promotions, and organizational changes.
• Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences for various bookings (rooms, restaurants, golf club) to ensure satisfaction for guests and team members.
• Conduct and support daily checks to ensure accurate reservations data and guest information.
• Respond promptly to all incoming calls, emails, faxes, and other correspondence following IHG DFC guidelines.
• Conduct thorough investigations into non-arrivals to prevent incorrect charges to guests\' credit cards.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and effectively to ensure satisfaction for guests and team members and prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on current sales strategies provided by the Reservations Manager or Revenue Manager.
• To pay close attention to the details of an operation and process, ensuring they are carried out correctly.

What we need from you

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Reservation Manager or 3 years as a Reservation Supervisor.
• Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Advanced PMS Opera skills.
• Team player with leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Results-oriented with high integrity.
• Knowledgeable in hospitality industry operations and revenue management.
