About the Role:
We are in search for
Assistant Project Manager
to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will help ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow in the contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Support day-to-day operations, coordinate and communicate with suppliers, contractors, and on-site workers.
Track the status of the project and assist in locating and resolving any problems that might affect budgets or schedules
Assist with client communication, preparing updates, meeting notes, and progress reports.
Ensure that all project documentation, such as contracts, change orders, and permits, is kept up to date.
Support quality control processes to ensure all work meets company and regulatory standards.
Help identify project risks and participate in the development of mitigation strategies.
Take part in meetings, site visits, and inspections to keep an eye on safety compliance and project milestones.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of experience in project coordination or assisting in project management within the UAE in contracting or construction industry.
Good knowledge with contracting practices, project management principles, and regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
