Job Description
The Assistant Pharmacist supports licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing patient care services. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications. Provide information to patients about dosage, side effects, and safe medication use. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions. Manage stock levels, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of medicines. Support administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and documentation. Uphold pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality policies.
