We are looking for an experienced Assistant Baker to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, or other goodies for pets. Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide variety of pet-friendly goodies such as cakes, cookies, cupcakes, treats, and donuts, following our approved recipes.
Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure an outstanding quality of our product.
Creation of new designs and shapes for the items we sell.
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and place appropriate orders based on approved budgets.
Manages day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen.
Maintain a high quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten-free, sugar-free, etc.)

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience as a baker/assistant baker, or relevant role.
Great attention to detail and creativity.
A certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field is a Plus.
Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques, and nutrition
