About the Role:

A new opportunity has become available at Dubai\'s favorite neighborhood hotel for an Assistant Outlet Manager position. The assistant outlet manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of 42 MIDTOWN, Zabeel House\'s newest signature restaurant addition, adding a totally new concept to the F&B offering and an exciting new experience in the neighborhood.

42 MIDTOWN is a restaurant inspired by the conjunction of European and American cuisines, with a strong element of woodfire and unique and never seen cocktail menu inspired by the flavors of New York. This restaurant is aimed to open their doors in September 2023.

In this role, the Assistant Outlet Manager you will be supporting the pre-opening stages of the operation, as well responsible to create, curate and maintain the good relationships with our current neighborhood guests and new ones, working closely with a exciting team who is ready to create new memories.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Ensures that all colleagues\' activities adhere to and support the Company Quality Standards.

Applies creative solutions and proposes ideas to grow, develop and improve the business.

To assist the outlet manager in the preparation of the department budget and the sales and marketing plans.

Achieves sales and profit targets and enhances the margins through effective stock management and minimizing controllable costs.

Ensures the highest levels of service and courtesy are provided to guests.

Maintains departmental Standard Operating Procedures and ensures that all colleagues have a working knowledge and always follow the SOPs all.

Manages the level, consistency, and quality of table and/ or counter service of all menu items.

Consistently monitors quality of food and beverages being served and service quality, escalating any major problems/ complaints to Senior Management.

Actively promotes the use of up selling techniques within outlet to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

To conduct performance appraisals for all employees in the outlet to discuss existing performance and areas of improvement.

Takes full responsibility of the outlet.

Actively seeks and reviews customer feedback regarding food quality, service, and overall satisfaction and takes appropriate and timely action.

To assist in producing and conducting F&B trainings as part of F&B colleagues\' development.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential:

Qualifications:

Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant field from an accredited and renowned University.

Has 2 years\' experience in working in independent restaurants

Aware of current F&B market trends

Ideally a candidate with strong pre-opening experience is desirable

Track record in working his / her way up to current position

Hands on approach with a can-do attitude

Experience in leading a large team

Experience and Skills:

Ability to forecast business volumes as per occupancy

Proven track record in successfully launching promotions

Proven track record in Interviewing training and developing staff

Involvement in a Key Worldwide Market place

Experience in high volume independent restaurants

Attention to Detail Orientated

P&L / Financial awareness

Focus on new Worldwide market trends
