About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for Assistant Outlet Manager to Join our All Day Dining Restaurant - Kitchen Connection team at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for overseeing all facets of the outlet, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service leading to creating unforgettable moments for guests\' worth sharing.

Assists the Outlet Manager in day-to-day operations, leads by example and instils a culture of continuous learning and improvement among Colleagues; actively participates in Employee relations activities and programs, responsible to achieve the optimum level of guest satisfaction and outlet profitability maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork, motivating Colleagues leading to high team morale.

The main responsibilities are:

Manages day to day operation of the department thus ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedure and they are followed in courteous yet professional manner thus providing delightful and engaging services to all guests.

Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all Guests are served as per the brand standard. Assist the Outlet Manager in continuously growing the business.

Engages in guest interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner; creates personalized experiences; establishes a network of regular guests and keeps relevant and accurate records.

Ensures all resources for an efficient operation are in place; takes routine inventories and re-orders operating supplies when necessary.

Ensures that cash is always safe guarded, and all paperwork is completed, filled and kept up to date in accordance with company policy.

Closely monitors the cashiering function of the outlet and ensures compliance with Cashiering Procedures.

Ensures all orders associated with Operations, F&B, Refurbishment, Culinary etc. are placed in time and in line with budget and business requirements.

Must understand a General Ledger and be able to highlight and investigate any issues. Should be able to understand the budgetary requirements and deficits.

Assists the Outlet Manager in preparing annual plans, forecasts and managing expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals. Maximize profitability & revenue by controlling labour and expenses.

Makes suggestions to increase the market share for the Outlet thus optimizing profits and increasing sales.

Assists the Outlet Manager in ensuring that the outlet operates to the highest standard of cleanliness always.

Presumes full responsibility of a specific Outlet(s) in the absence of the Outlet Manager including and not limited to Forecasting, Audit and Compliance, Complaints and Escalations etc.

Manages escalations and concerns and resolve them with support from Outlet manager where needed, tracking, and notifying proper areas and responsible person to guarantee memorable experience for our guests.

Oversees that Team leaders are leading the team efficiently and diligently. Prepares roster in line with budget and business requirements where applicable and ensures vacation planning is updated.

Ensures that the team adhere to Business conduct and ethics, Health & Safety policies, Local Hygiene regulations and all Colleagues report to their daily assignments on time and are properly groomed and dressed in line with Jumeirah grooming standards.

Manages Team activities under direction of Outlet Manager such as daily briefings, meetings, outing and other necessary activities to keep the team engaged and motivated.

Leads, motivates & continuously develops the Team to maximize colleague productivity, departmental revenue, guest satisfaction & department COS scores, responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager/ General Manager in ensuring that all colleagues have full product knowledge.

Define training needs and propose training programs in co-relation with Outlet Manager. Ensures that regular training is conducted within the outlet and that all colleagues are trained as per their job specification.

Accomplishes department\'s results by assisting Outlet Manager by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance as directed to all direct and indirect reports.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management/F&B Management

Health and Safety Certification

Proficient in English - Level 3 as Minimum (Read/Write/Speak - Essential)

Knowledge of additional language (Desired)

Minimum of 2 years\' experience in Assistant Outlet Manager role with strong F&B background in a standalone/branded restaurant

Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Technical knowledge of MICROS, Tahweel, HSI, Purchasing software, MS Office Applications and F&B Application
