8. QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL PREFERRED
Education - Graduate from a recognized nursing school (minimum 2 yrs)
- ACLS (for adult patients)
- PALS (for pediatric patients)
Experience - 1 years minimum clinical experience plus 6 months recent experience with ventilated patients (i.e. extra 6 months adult ventilated patients for adult AN's and extra 6 months pediatric ventilated patients for pediatric AN's)
- Long term care or rehabilitation experience
Certification and Licensure - Current valid registration in country of training and/or country of last employment
- Eligible for DOH licensing
Job Specific Knowledge and Skills - Up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
- Able to speak Arabic
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Competent in life support
- Able to work as an effective team member
- Self-motivated
- Able to communicate verbally and written in English
