Lead the local subsidiaries on delivering sales targets for all Samsung Product Categories on Pureplayer Partners across MENA Being part of the RHQ Online team puts you in a leading position at the centre of excellence responsible for overall sell-in and sell-out achievement as well as well as overseeing investments on both commercial and marketing fronts for Samsung\xe2\x80\x99s pure-player business. Sales experience with data-driven and analytical mind-set along with excellent communication skills are key for success to manage regional and local partners, marketing agencies, cross-functional teams across MENA as well as your counterparts at HQ. The candidate will also be responsible for driving new product launches, maintaining performance throughout the full product life cycle and execution of campaigns (both Samsung and partner led) while managing the performance-marketing agency to deliver the targeted growth. The position requires an experienced eCommerce Manager who is capable of managing 3rd party online platform relationships (Amazon, noon, etc.).
Role and Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direction to the subsidiaries\xe2\x80\x99 online and product teams and secure operations of CoE functions across commercials, marketing/content, analytics, marketplace management
Contribute to achieve regional sales targets in accordance with the account management plan or execution plan and increase Samsung\xe2\x80\x99s in-house share year on year
Execute the overall strategy for pureplayers (e.g. sales programs, promotional activities, sales incentives\xe2\x80\xa6) with a view to achieving Samsung volumes, revenues and in-house market share as defined in the JBP and in line with the management plan
Interpret performance data and drive actionable insights that can feed into digital strategies, channel performance and campaign optimizations
Manage the product categories (mobile experience, visual display, and digital appliances) and deliver company vision to ensure revenue, customer satisfaction and loyalty goals are met
Plan and manage promotional calendar, to build and execute cross divisional campaigns to maximize sellout
Build and maintain healthy relationships with the defined pure-players and partner media agencies
Manage investment levels by partner by product category with the markets to ensure healthy profitability
Working closely with the markets\xe2\x80\x99 online, marketing and sales teams to develop the regional online strategy and define locally specific tactics and actions derived from it
Develop strategy for new product launches in collaboration with product, marketing and advertising teams
Track and manage sell-in, sell-out, WOS, OOS, ageing inventory, and provide necessary analysis and drive markets with action plans to achieve targets
Work closely with pure-player content team to manage and liaise all details regularly for smooth execution
Manage HQ counterparts and attain and deliver best practices improving MENA markets\xe2\x80\x99 execution
Manage key KSupport with unlocking new sellout features through negotiation and execution of cross-divisional regional JBPsPIs for traffic, sales, acquisition and customer engagement
Skills and Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
The role requires excellent business acumen and good stakeholder management as well as experience in data analysis, defining trends and generating insights.
5+ years of relevant work experience within a fast growing eCommerce environment
Solid experience in directly managing the regions key pure-players
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills
Conceptual and strategic, and must embrace being an owner; getting involved in the details of the business
Proficiency in building clear and concise presentations to be used with C-Level management
Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships
Comfortable in a collaborative environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization
Ability to multitask efficiently, while being well organized and maintaining high attention to detail
Excellent time management to work on tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last-minute requests
Ability to operate comfortably and optimally in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
Strong analytical skills to be able to track and generate data based insights on a weekly basis
Strong understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure & language skills)
Bachelor/Master degree with 5+ years of eCommerce experience
Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Must be system oriented as well as computer literate and advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
