Job Description

Role Purpose:

To support and manage end-to-end execution of new product development projects within the perfumes and packaging category, from concept to launch. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Production, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation:

Assist in conceptualizing and developing new perfume collections aligned with market trends and brand strategy. Coordinate fragrance briefings and sample evaluations with fragrance houses. Support in creating mood boards, trend decks, and product presentations.

Packaging Development:

Coordinate development of primary and secondary packaging components - bottles, caps, boxes, labels, etc. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely development of packaging prototypes and artworks. Evaluate samples and ensure packaging aesthetics and quality meet brand standards.

Project Management:

Track project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time product launches. Maintain project documentation and update trackers regularly. Ensure cross-functional alignment throughout the development cycle.

Sourcing & Vendor Coordination:

Support in sourcing raw materials and packaging components. Coordinate with local and international vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Negotiate costs in collaboration with Procurement and ensure adherence to budget.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance:

Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing product dossiers and documentation required for product registration or export.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

Conduct periodic benchmarking of competitor products in terms of packaging, pricing, and positioning. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in product portfolio.
