Overview: As the Assistant Manager - Marketing, you will support the execution of marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth in the competitive e-commerce sector. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and consumer behavior. Job Duties & Responsibility:
Marketing Strategy Execution:
Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align campaigns with business objectives. Manage the execution of promotional strategies for seasonal sales, new product launches, and special events.
Digital Marketing:
Oversee day-to-day activities on digital platforms, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Collaborate with the performance marketing team to optimize PPC and display ad campaigns. Analyze website and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics to suggest improvements.
Content and Creative Management:
Coordinate with content and design teams to produce engaging, on-brand materials. Develop and manage a content calendar for email marketing, blogs, and social media posts. Monitor and improve the quality of creative assets for advertisements and product promotions.
Customer Engagement:
Plan and execute customer loyalty and retention campaigns. Work on strategies to improve the customer experience and journey on the e-commerce platform. Conduct market research and customer surveys to understand customer preferences and improve targeting.
Brand Management:
Maintain consistency in branding across all marketing channels and touchpoints. Support partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand positioning.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Measure the success of marketing campaigns using KPIs such as ROI, CTR, conversion rates, and CAC. Prepare and present campaign performance reports and actionable insights to senior management.
E-commerce Platform Optimization:
Collaborate with the tech and product teams to optimize the website for better conversions and user experience. Manage product listings and ensure accurate and compelling descriptions and visuals.
Budget Management:
Manage and track the marketing budget effectively to ensure optimal utilization. Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and investment priorities. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA in Marketing is preferred.
5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the e-commerce or retail sector.
Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and email marketing platforms.
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media management.
Familiarity with CRM tools and e-commerce platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Creativity and innovation in campaign planning and execution.
