Job Purpose:
To Maintain the Plant & Machinery to achieve the targeted uptime of
98%.
To manage a team consists of Technicians, Electricianst and Fitter to carry out maintenance of Plant, Equipment and Machineries.
To provide support to Lean, CRICI, Sustainabilityt Developmental and Process Automation projects.
Maintaining the documentation related the maintenance activities and machine history
Automation of manufacturing process & design and build machines for inhouse production requirement
Responsible for ensuring ISO 9001 i 14000 and 45000 management systems.
Key Accountabilities:
To ensure the Plant and machinery are maintained as per Preventive and Predictive Maint schedules to achieve near to zero downtime.
Ensure the Maintenance records and machine history are up to date and maintained as per ISO requirements.
Monitoring and reporting the machine condition on monthly basis.
Coordination with production functions like Fabrication and Assembly cells to execute \xe2\x80\xa2preventive and predictive\' maintenance schedules for on time execution.
Cost effective sourcing of Spares and Services from Local and overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
Getting quotes for spare parts from 2-3 suppliers, negotiating and Ordering for the plant and machinery maintenance.
Manage the Maintenance team, consisting of technicians, electricians & fitters.
Involve in cost cutting activities and continuous improvement projects with team and individual.
Involve in yearly budgeting of Plant and machinery and Repair and maintenance.
Active involvement in Spare parts inventory control and optimization to reduce inventory carrying costs.
Identify and train the Maintenance team members as per the requirement and maintain the training matrix.
Developing maintenance team for multitasking to increase the flexibility in the department.
To actively involve in new machinery installation activity. To work with other departments in implementing improved process layouts and contribute to work as a team to achieve organizational goals like productivity improvementl cost reduction, waste reduction, better housekeeping standards, health, and safety standards etc.
Designing of electrical circuit / pneumatic circuit/ hydraulic circuit for building machine used in inhouse manufacturing. PLC /HMI / VFD / PID / Process instrumentation programming.
Implementing environment friendly measures on a continuous scale to support and achieve Sustainability goals of Company. Should be actively involved in complying with ISO 9001, 14000 and 45000 Standards.

Scheduling team members for machine run hours data collection and updating system on monthly basis.
Scheduling team member for electricity and water consumption data collection and updating system on weekly basis.
Scheduling team members to execute JAFZA OFC related test and requirements.
Identify and train the Maintenance team members as per the requirement and maintain the training matrix.
Developing maintenance team for multitasking to increase the flexibility in the department.
To involve in all expansion and improvement projects
Preparation of site for new machine installation.
Assisting team members in preparation of machine layout,
Assisting production and production engineering in selection of machineries.
Decommission and relocation of old machineries.
Scheduling team members for new machine installation.
To work with other departments in implementing improved process layouts and contribute to work as a team to achieve organizational goals like productivity improvement, cost reduction, waste reduction, better housekeeping standards, health, and safety standards etc.

Preparation of half yearly PM schedule and circulating to production department.
Printing and displaying of OPM checklist on monthly basis.
Preparation of hard copy maintenance report on daily basis for PM and BM activity.
Tabulation the data from maintenance report to excel file as per system.
Monthly machine run hour monitoring and publishing machine up time details.
Monitoring the status of actual PM status and reporting
Monitoring the actual and Machine technical related training hours and reporting Assigning machine code to new asset as per the asset register.
Automation of manufacturing process & design and build machines for inhouse production requirement.
Preparation of concept for in-house machine manufacturing.
Designing of electrical circuit / pneumatic circuit/ hydraulic circuit for building machine used in inhouse manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: -
Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
Should have good working knowledge about the shop floor machineries like Laser, Robots, CNC Punch & CNC Bending m/c,
Pretreatment and Powder Coating plants, Zinc Spray, Air compressors Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC control systems
Minimum Experience:
10 years of experience in Maintenance department \xe2\x80\x94 Sheet Metal Fabrication industry experience in a High-tech manufacturing environment.
Job-Specific Skills:
Working knowledge in CNC & PLC controlled machineries is a must. Good working knowledge in Electrical and Electronic control panels Should poses good manpower managing skills.
Should be able to handle demanding and stressful situations without compromise on work quality, Should have sound knowledge about the basic industrial machinery mechanical systems and working principles.
Basic knowledge in spare parts inventory management
Behavioural Competencies:
Should be able to work independently and with guidance.
Should be able to work along with team members and lead team. Should be active and energetic.
