Assistant Manager Internal Audit Al Futtaim Group is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Audit professional to join its team as Assistant Manager Internal Audit. This role plays a critical part in evaluating internal controls, identifying operational risks, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards across the group's diverse operations. Conduct operational and financial audits as per the annual audit plan
Evaluate internal controls, compliance with policies, asset protection, and data integrity
Assist in the development of audit programs and risk-based audit planning
Document findings using an Audit Management System and prepare detailed audit reports
Perform audit testing using data analytics and computer-assisted audit tools
Review processes for efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to delegated authorities
Engage with department heads to discuss audit findings and obtain feedback
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation
Participate in special consulting assignments and fraud investigations as required
Requirements Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, ACA, or MBA (Finance)
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in internal or external audit
Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle preferred
Skills:
Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and internal control frameworks
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills (English required, Arabic is a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools
Familiarity with audit documentation systems and audit management software
Self-motivated and capable of executing audits independently
Ability to manage multiple assignments and influence stakeholders across functions
