As Assistant Manager, Food Safety and Hygiene, your role will be to support the function of the Health and Safety Department. You will do this by facilitating the operational application, monitoring, and enforcing of the Health, Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards at the Resort and the Employee Residences. You will ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures and conduct internal inspections and audits to ensure that the highest standards and compliance with related regulations are met. You will be required to facilitate and report on all internal and external audits/inspections, conduct vendor site audits, and coordinate with external partners or Government officials on any related subject. You will be required to deliver training programs related to health, safety, and hygiene for all employees. Adopt a proactive and pre-emptive approach to risk assessments, established systems, and processes. About You
You should have a bachelor's degree in Food Microbiology or a related field and previous experience and knowledge working with HACCP standards and exceptional organizational skills, and three years of experience working in the hospitality industry being responsible for Health & Safety as well as Food & Safety. Familiarity with the UAE Health & Safety & Food Safety regulations is required, NEBOSH, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000 certifications would be an advantage.
