Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance to manage key financial processes, including financial reporting, audits, month-end closings, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in managing finance operations. The Assistant Manager will ensure timely and accurate preparation of balance sheet schedules and other financial statements, supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

Month-End Closing:

• Manage and oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and within deadlines.

• Review general ledger reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved.

Financial Audits:

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of audit deliverables.

• Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation to facilitate smooth audit processes.

Tax Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with all tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other local tax laws.

• Prepare and submit tax returns and liaise with tax authorities for any queries or issues.

Balance Sheet Schedules:

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules, ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate documentation.

• Perform regular reviews of balance sheet accounts and ensure proper reconciliation.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data reporting.

• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or audit functions.

• Experience in audit advisory with the Big 6 accounting firms will be preferred

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
